鍋	鍋割山のギン太 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いまはお城の代わりに、立派な図書館が建っています。まったく遺構は残されていませんが、広瀬川の河川敷から眺めると、断崖に拠る城の姿が想像されます(^^) 伊勢崎城は那波宗俊が赤石左衛門尉に命じて築城させ、当初は赤石城と呼ばれていました。那波氏が凋落して、由良成繁が城主となったとき、伊勢崎城と名を改めたのだそうです。現在の伊勢崎市は、かつて赤石郷と呼ばれていました。広瀬川の侵食によって、露出した崖の赤褐色の関東ローム層の土の色から、自然に地名となったようです。赤坂や赤堀なども同じ由来だそうです。赤石城を落とした由良成繁は、家臣の林伊賀守に与えました。これを聞いた那波宗俊は「赤石の林に実る伊賀栗を再び落として、勝栗にしたいものじゃ！」と悔しがったといいます。戦いに勝利した由良成繁は、これも神の加護であるとして、広瀬川の崖上に伊勢神宮を建て、土地を寄進しました。これによって、赤石郷は伊勢の前(さき)と呼ばれるようになったとのことです。その後、伊勢崎城は廃城となってしまいましたが、文化財として標柱や説明板は、あっても良いのではないかと思います。 Now, a good library is built in place of the castle. Nana Munetoshi heard that, "I dropped the Iga chestnut tree in the Akaishi forest again and regretted that I wanted to make it a Katsukuri!" Yura Shigeru, who won the battle, built Ise Shrine on the cliff of the Hirose River and donated the land, as it was also a god blesser. According to this, Akaishigo is said to be called Ise's (Saki). After that, Isesaki Castle has become an abandoned castle, but as a cultural asset, I think that there may be a pillar and an explanation board.
