★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 晩御飯で立ち寄りました。コロナ対策ばっちりのおかげか、店内でうるさく喋る方も居らずゆっくり食事出来ました。刺身の量は口コミ通り少なめ。でも白醤油は独特で良かったです。コースは、刺身→釜飯→天ぷらの順で出てきますが、天ぷらが美味しかったですね。あと、みかんも。接客の女性と店長さんの愛想が良くて、いい思い出ができました。
 I stopped by for dinner. Thanks to the corona measures, I was able to eat slowly without any people talking noisy in the store. The amount of sashimi is small as word of mouth. But white soy sauce was unique and good. The course comes out in the order of sashimi → kamameshi → tempura, but the tempura was delicious. Also, mandarin oranges. The female customer service and the store manager were very friendly and I had good memories.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owner tried very hard to please us with broken English. Maybe even had an English menu. Beer offered in ginormous size was great. Food was good but little bit expensive. Cool family run and lived space. Bike parking brings a smile. Cycling may have saved their business! Due to owners of enthusiasm though even providing us a map showing where we were was sweet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here on a recommendation from a local. We ended up going with the flat fish tempura and the fried fish set meal.
Both meals were fantastic but the hands down winner was the fried fish. I didn't even know that this was something worth trying while in Japan. So glad we did. And the gentleman that served us was just the sweetest and kindest soul.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The set menu is a lot of food and very filling. Found the sashimi platter a little underwhelming... The staff wouldn't even explain which was what... Had better sashimi in Onomichi the day before for sure.
The staff is very very meticulous about social distance and measures taken. So much so that we ran into our friends by chance at the restaurant and wasn't even allowed to chat with them casually since no talking except within families and even that limited to small voices. Can take it as a good or bad thing.
Also! Expect a lot of bones in the deep fried fish... Not like fish and chips at all so be prepared!
