★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 気になっていたインド・ネパール料理KUMARIのランチに行ってきました。
はじめての入ったので、その日のランチメニューにして、高い方のセットにチャレンジ。
店員さんには親切に対応してもらいました。
感想としては、メニューによると思うのですが、頼んだカレーは具が物足りない感じでした。
ナンはボリュームもあり、美味しい！
でも、味とコスパで考えると、個人的には多賀城にあるガネーシャや市名坂にあるアラジンが好きです。
辛さ50倍とか想像出来ないけど、仙台駅圏内で本場カレーを楽しむには良いかも。

クマリさんのメニューは【美味しいカレーとナン】だけでなく【インド・ネパールの一品料理】や、アイスクリーム入りの【ストロベリーラッシー】、【チョコレートナン】など 他のカレー屋さんにはなかなか無いメニューも豊富で、どれも美味しいものしかありません！o(^o^)o

スープ付とのことなのですが、スープカレーのようにライスをよそって浸して食べても美味しい！
駐車場は、踏切に向かって、踏切手前の右側に3台ありました。いっぱいの時は踏切渡って直ぐの左手に有料駐車場があります。安いので安心して大丈夫。

先日、友人達とたまたまお店の近くを通りかかった際、昼食のピーク時間なのにお店のガラス越しに店内がガラガラなのが見えたので、コロナ禍の飲食店を応援するために訪問させて頂きました。
私は一番高いセットメニューを注文してみましたが、普通の女性ではとても食べ切れないほどのボリューム。カレーは色々な種類から選べるのは良かったですが、味は、このジャンルのお店に日本人が期待する本格的な本場風のカレーというよりは、日本の家庭で作るおなじみのカレーにかなり寄せた味で、食べやすいのはいいのですが、正直、それ以外の評価ポイントは無かったです。
ただ、料理の味などどうでもよくなる程にひどかったのは、店内の不潔さと外国人店員さんの接客対応のいい加減さ。お客さんが少ないからなのか、店内の至る所にホコリやゴミが放置されていて、黒い羽根の付いた虫の死骸がゴロゴロとあちこちに転がっていました。さらに、こちらが親切心で外国人の店員さんにその状況をお伝えすると、店員さんはすぐに衛生対応をする訳でも無く、こちらの話が通じていなかったのか、にこにこしながら勝手に会計を促して来ました。
私達は、コロナでお客さんが入っていないお店を応援する目的でお店に訪問したのに、このような体験をして、店員さんに促されるまま、本当に不快な気持ちで会計を済ませて店を出ました。
今回は、微力ながらコロナで大変な飲食業界のお力になれればとこちらのお店に訪問しましたが、逆に、この様なお店だからお客さんが居ないのかなと、とても嫌な体験ではありましたが、私達にとっても応援する店選びのとても良い教訓になりました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ インドカレーを食べにKUMARI仙台駅前店に行ってきました。
日本人向けにアレンジされているんだと思いますがチキンカレー食べやすくて美味しかったです。焼きたてのナンかなりオススメです! さめるとちょっと味が落ちますので熱々のうちに食べるのが良いかと。
辛さに弱いのでは辛さは1にしましたが、ちょっと辛さを感じるぐらいでちょうど良かったです。
ボリューム結構あります。女子にはちょっと多めな感じかもです
次回はもう少しディープそうなダールカレーかマトンカレーに挑戦したいと思います。ほうれん草も捨てがたい?
