店主の接客は非常に丁寧で人情があるが、例え無愛想に料理を出されてとしても美味しい物を食べさせようという心意気が感じられる。
名物の鴨餃子は鴨の濃い味が旨く、黒餃子は豚の甘みと黒ニンニクの強い風味が美味しく更なる食欲をそそる。
トマトのらっきょう酢漬けは見た目も良く、程よい酸味と甘みが口をさっぱりしてくれ、前菜としても料理と料理の間につまんでも最高。
