★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 単式ホームと島式ホーム1つずつの合計2面3線を持つ駅。14:52ころひだ同士の交換と下り普通列車をひだが追い抜き、全ての線路が埋まった（2016年8月）。
A station with a total of 2 lines and 3 lines, one single platform and one island platform. Around 14:52, the folds were exchanged and the ordinary train was overwhelmed, and all tracks were buried (August 2016).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高山本線で一番標高の高いところにある無人駅です。南へ歩いて1分の所にA-COOPがあります。隣の飛騨一ノ宮駅とは約2000メートルの宮トンネルで結ばれています。特急列車の待ち合わせをする駅です。
【再訪】
一年ぶりに降りました。
美濃太田駅12時39分発高山行き普通列車に乗ると、ここで24分間の特急通過待ちをします。無人駅を出たところなある公衆トイレはウォシュレット付きでめちゃ綺麗です。列車のトイレより断然いいのでどうぞ。それに歩いて1分ほどのところにあるJA飛騨で飲み物やお菓子を買うことも十分可能なほどの待ち時間をくらいます(笑)
It is an unmanned station located at the highest altitude in Takayama Main Line. There is A - COOP in 1 minute walk to the south. It is connected with the next Hida Ichinonomiya station by the 2000 m temple tunnel. It is a station to meet for limited trains.
【Revisit】
I got off for the first time in a year.
Minotaota station 12: 39 min. From Takayama by taking a regular train, I will wait for a 24-minute express passage. There is a public toilet where I left the unmanned station with a washlet and it is very beautiful. It's better than a train toilet so please. Ja Hida is about a minute walking to it and I can wait enough time to buy drinks and sweets (lol)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この駅から飛騨川と離れ、当駅～飛騨一ノ宮にあるトンネルを抜けると宮川沿いを走ります。飛騨川は木曽川と合流し太平洋へ注ぎますが、宮川は富山県に入ると神通川となり日本海へ注ぎます。
If you leave this station away from the Hida River and go through the tunnel between this station and Hida Ichinomiya, you will run along the Miyagawa River. The Hida River merges with the Kiso River and flows into the Pacific Ocean, but when Miyagawa enters Toyama Prefecture, it becomes the Jinzu River and flows into the Sea of Japan.

北に徒歩数分の陸橋から駅が望める。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 伊勢湾側と富山湾側の分水嶺宮峠の南側、高山本線で最高所の標高６７６㍍に有る駅。
近くには位山がそびえ、古来より朝廷の官位を表す笏を位山のイチイの木で作り、現在でも天皇家に献上されている。
此の駅より高山駅へは宮峠のトンネルを越えると、線路は一気に急坂となりUの字を描いて飛騨一ノ宮駅へと続きます。
飛騨川は久々野より方向を変えて朝日.高根を経由して御嶽山麓が源流となる。
今は高山市に編入されていますが、かつては人口約四千人を数える、岐阜県大野郡久々野町だったので、無人駅ながら上下２本の特急「ワイドビューひだ」が停車します。
A station located at an altitude of 676 m, which is the highest point on the Takayama Main Line, on the south side of the watershed Miyatoge Pass on the Ise Bay side and Toyama Bay side.
Mt. Kurai rises nearby, and since ancient times, a scepter representing the imperial court has been made from yew trees on Mt. Kurai and is still presented to the imperial family.
From this station to Takayama station, when you cross the Miyatoge tunnel, the railroad tracks suddenly become steep and draw a U shape to reach Hida Ichinomiya station.
The Hida River changes direction from Kuno, and the source is the foot of Mt. Ontake via Asahi. Takane.
Although it is now incorporated into Takayama City, it used to be Kuguno-cho, Ono-gun, Gifu Prefecture, which has a population of about 4,000, so although it is an unmanned station, two limited express "Wide View Hida" will stop.
