★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 徳川家康から名乗りをいただいた本多伊勢守康紀が元和年間(1615～1624)に建立したと伝えられています。元々は明大寺殿橋にありましたが、度重なる水害にあい、現在の場所に文化2年(1805)に移転しました。ご本尊は騎馬馬頭観音像で、行基が三州巡化の時に一本の杉から彫った七体観音の一つであると言われています。源義経との別れの悲しみのため、浄瑠璃姫は乙川に身を投じます。義経は死をいたみ馬頭観音を祀ります。有名な話だそうだ。現在では、信州善光寺より一光三尊善光寺如来の分身をたわまりました。
It is reported that Motoyasu Ise Moriyasu, who received a ride from Tokugawa Ieyasu, built it during the Motowa year (1615-1624). Originally, it was in Meidaiji Tonohashi, but was exposed to repeated floods and moved to the current location in 2 years of culture (1805). It is said to be one of the seven body Kannon carved by a cedar at the time of the Sanshu pilgrimage by Gojo, a horseshoe Kannon statue. Because of the sadness of goodbye to the original Yoshitsune, Jorurihime casts himself into the Kamogawa. Yoshitsune dies and beats the horse head Kannon. It is a famous story. Today, Ikusan Isonsan Zenkoji Nyorai is a part of Shinshu Zenkoji.

無量寺、三河善光寺の二つの名前を持つ。
曹洞宗 無量寺から単立 三河善光寺に宗派が変わった事によるものだそうです。
小さな境内ながら、静かで地元の方が気軽に参拝できる村のお寺さんと言った様相で敷居の低さが魅力と言えると思います。
神社と隣り合っています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小さなお寺ですが、いずれの宗派にも属さず、敷居の低いといいますか、分け隔てなく誰でも気軽に相談に乗れるこれからの時代に合わせた多様ニーズに合わせたお寺だと強く感じました。
現在では信州善光寺より一光三尊善光寺如来の御分身を賜り、寺号を三河善光寺といいます。
由緒は1615～1624年頃、本多伊勢守康紀がに建立したと伝えられます。
もとは明大寺殿橋の所にありましたが、度重なる風水害に遭ったため1805年に現在の地に移転したそうです。
ご本尊「騎乗馬頭観世音菩薩」は行基菩薩が三州巡化のとき一本の杉の木をもって、七体観音像を彫刻されたうちの一体であるといわれています。
もとは馬に乗る珍しい姿ではなく、頭の上に馬を乗せる一般的な馬頭観音さまの姿であったが、洪水で本堂ごと流されたときに頭の上の馬に乗り、颯爽と洪水の荒れ狂う川の中から脱出してそのお姿で今に至るそうです。
また、義経を想いついには菅生川に身を投じた浄瑠璃姫の死を悼んだ義経が騎乗馬頭観音さまを安置し、供養したとも伝えられます。
木造馬頭観世音菩薩像は厨子の中に安置し扉を閉ざしており、十二年に一度のご開帳の時だけ特別にお姿を拝むことができます。（次回は2027年）

It was originally located at Myodaiji Tonobashi, but it was relocated to its current location in 1805 due to repeated wind and flood damage.
It is said that the principal image of the Buddhist priest, "Kanzeon Bodhisattva," is one of the seven Kannon statues carved with a single cedar tree when Gyoki Bodhisattva traveled to Sanshu.
Originally, it was not a rare appearance of riding a horse, but a general appearance of Hayagriva who puts a horse on his head, but when the main hall was washed away by the flood, he got on a horse above his head and dashingly It seems that he has escaped from the raging river of the flood and continues to this day.
In addition, it is said that Yoshitsune, who finally thought of Yoshitsune and mourned the death of Jorurihime, who threw himself into the Sugo River, enshrined Kannon, the horse riding head, and offered a memorial service.
The wooden horse-headed Kanzeon Bodhisattva statue is placed in the kitchen and the door is closed, so you can worship it only when the book is opened once every twelve years. (Next time is 2027)
