★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 銅の製錬処あとがそばにあり、ビックリします。大分自然に帰っていますが、海岸には製錬くずの銅があり歴史を感じました。
I'm surprised that there is a copper smelter nearby. I have returned to nature in Oita, but I felt the history of smelted copper on the coast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 女子岬と書いて「めっこみさき」と呼びます。先っぽまでは車では行けませんので、遊歩道沿いに歩いていく必要があります。
遊歩道入り口に車を止める所がありますが、そんなに広くありません。（私は自転車で来ましたが）そこから30分弱、アップダウンの多い道を通っていくと海岸に到着。レンガ造りの遺構（銅精錬所跡）があり、背後の美しい青い海とのコントラストは美しいものです。
灯台へは海岸から再び登って行きます。しかも木々がこんもり繁っているせいで眺望はよくありません。そのため、灯台へわざわざ足を運ぶ必要はないかもしれませんね。海岸だけでも十分見どころありますし。
It is written as "Women's Cape" and is called "Mekko Misaki". You can't drive to the tip, so you'll have to walk along the promenade.
There is a place to park the car at the entrance of the promenade, but it is not so wide. (I came by bicycle) It took less than 30 minutes from there, and after going through a road with many ups and downs, I arrived at the beach. There is a brick remains (copper smelter ruins), and the contrast with the beautiful blue sea behind is beautiful.
Climb again from the coast to the lighthouse. Moreover, the view is not good because the trees are densely populated. Therefore, you may not have to go to the lighthouse. There are plenty of things to see on the beach alone.
