★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この岩井崎は、往古には地獄ケ崎と呼ばれていた。この崎の沖合いに十倉と呼ばれる岩礁地帯があり、多くの海難事故が何度も起きていたからと伝わっている。五代仙台藩主伊達吉村公が巡検の際訪れ、その風光を賞賛し祝崎と改名させその後、藩主の巡検の際には必ず立ち寄ったともいわれている。
ずいぶん古くから、たびたび訪れていたが、周辺を含め、津波の被害が大きく、しばらくためらっていた。松の数は減っていたが、周辺が整備されて綺麗になっていた。
三陸海岸は、津波災害と共に多くの海難事故が起きてきた地域。改名の故事と共に先人を偲びたい場所でもあると思う。
気仙沼出身の横綱「秀ノ山」の像や座礁したイカ釣り船を救出しようとして亡くなった高校生の碑などもある。
This Iwaizaki was called Jigokugasaki in ancient times. There is a reef area called Tokura off the coast of this saki, and it is said that many marine accidents have occurred many times. It is said that the 5th Sendai feudal lord Date Yoshimura visited during the patrol, praised the scenery and renamed it Kyozaki, and then always stopped by during the patrol of the feudal lord.
I have visited many times since a long time ago, but I hesitated for a while due to the great damage caused by the tsunami, including the surrounding area. The number of pine trees had decreased, but the surrounding area was well maintained and clean.
The Sanriku coast is an area where many marine accidents have occurred along with the tsunami disaster. I think it is also a place where I want to remember my ancestors along with the story of the name change.
There is also a statue of the yokozuna "Hidenoyama" from Kesennuma and a monument to a high school student who died trying to rescue a squid fishing boat that had stranded.

潮が引くと磯遊びが出来る絶好の場所。 この日は大潮でした。
駐車場から歩いてすぐです。
公衆トイレ、喫茶風ごはん屋さんあります。
飲み物の自動販売機あります。
塩作り体験も出来るようです。
潮だまりでは 小さい魚、ヤドカリ、ヒトデやウミウシ色んな生き物を観察出来ます。
海に入る時は、足を保護するための靴を持参されると良いですよ。
磯だまりで水遊びしやすい場所ですが、周辺の岩場は鋭利です。お子さんから絶対に目を離さないでくださいね。
海水浴場ではありませんので、シャワーや更衣室はありません。 お手洗いの前に水飲み場がありますが、常識の範囲内でご利用ください。 近隣入浴施設 鶴亀の湯、 ホテル観洋の日帰り温泉もありますから、ここで完結せずに温泉も楽しんで欲しいです。
The rocks are amazing! It is a famous landscape.
A great place to play on the rocky shore when the tide is low. This day was a spring tide.
It is a short walk from the parking lot.
There are public toilets and a coffee shop.
There is a drink vending machine.
It seems that you can also experience making salt.
In the tide pool, you can observe various creatures such as small fish, hermit crabs, starfish and sea slugs.
When entering the sea, it's a good idea to bring shoes to protect your feet.
It is a place where you can easily play in the water on the rocky shore, but the surrounding rocky areas are sharp. Please keep an eye on your child.
Since it is not a beach, there are no showers or changing rooms. There is a drinking fountain before the restroom, but please use it within the bounds of common sense. There are also nearby bathing facilities Tsurugame-no-Yu and Hotel Kanyo's one-day hot springs, so I would like you to enjoy the hot springs without completing them here.

トイレや自動販売機などもありました。
天気がいいときに行ったので太平洋を一望することができました。
海の他にも龍の姿に似ている松のモニュメントがあったり、力士の像があったりと様々な撮影スポットがありました。
海側に行くと岩場になっていてゴツゴツとした岩がつらなっています。
浅い水辺になっていてヤドカリやカニ、魚など海の生物も見ることができて楽しかったです。
天気がよかったので、青い海が広がり絶景でした。

The weather was nice, so the blue sea spread out and the view was superb.

ここは、気仙沼市内から10キロ南の湾にあります。2011年3月11日の東日本大震災では、この地区も高さ17mあまりの津波に襲われました。
岩井崎の松の木も多くが津波にのまれて倒れ流されましたが、一本の松が残ったのです。
その姿が龍のようだと、「龍の松」と呼ばれるようになり、多くの人が見にきています。
「鎮魂の思いを胸に未来に進む気仙沼市民の強い意志」の象徴です。
広々とした公園内は、ぐるりと海に囲まれ、冬の1月ですが、とっても綺麗な海の色でした。気仙沼は復興応援に来られる方も多く、また「おかえりモネ」の反響で多くの人が訪れるようですから、ぜひ来て下さい！
