Koumi Re-ex Hotel

八千穂高原や八峰の湯など小海町の観光資源が凝縮されたエリアで様々なアクテビティーが楽しめます。 一角にシャトレーゼが運営するリエックスホテルがあります。ホテルが提供しているテイクアウトの弁当を２日にわたり頂きましたが、値段以上の価値はあるかと思います。 立地上、天体観測に非常に適していますし、そのような方々が集まるイベントも行われています。

初めて泊まりました。スタッフは皆さん感じがよかったです。 ホテルや食事(バイキング)お値段は普通です。 部屋からの景色良かったです。 お風呂は部屋で入るにはユニットバスがあるので、問題ありませんが、掛け流しの天然温泉に入るには一度外に行かなくてはなりません。寒いこの時期は厳しい。 着替える前にコート来たまま出て、浴衣などがないので部屋着を持っていって入ったら着替えてコートを着て部屋に戻る感じにしました。ばぁばには、寒さと歩きがこたえまして、温泉自体(炭酸水素酸)はとてもいいので、そこが残念でした? 多分、ゴルフをなさる方向けにつくられたんでしょうね。

仲間と開催している大会で毎年利用しています?標高が1500～1800mあり、気温が低い(最低-18℃)ので雪が溶けず、人工降雪機の細かい雪が硬く締まったバーン状態で本当に快適に滑れます‼️?ただ14時を過ぎると冷えてきて?風が顔にあたると痛いほど??フェースシールドなど防寒対策はバッチリした方が良いでしょう

The hotel itself is old, but nice environment and relaxing. Don't forget to go hot spring from 6:00-23:00 everyday. better go early morning.

It seems to be a good hotel, very fancy, but due to covid, almost everything at the hotel was closed. I wasn't hosted there, just passed by.

Great hospitality. It’s not. 5 star hotel but very cozy. Old but I loved the staff there. Nice Onsen with great view and loving the wide space they have (recommend moving by car from tennis court, Onsen and the hotel) with tennis courts (indoor/outdoor). I guess it’ll also be fun during winter time for skiing. Access to the surrounding hiking spots are easy by car too. Can’t wait to see the stars tonight! —- and I sure did <3

Beautiful, relaxing area. Such clean air up there. The welcome dessert & drink was great. Fill yourself up with all the different cakes and sweets they have. They were all pretty good. Just that the utensils basket there seemed kind of dusty and I wasn’t too excited about using the forks in there. Make sure to have plenty of time since the welcome time is only until 4. Great onsen (esp the roten!!) and free after-onsen popsicles... although you do have to walk about a minute?from the hotel. Nice rooms. Free Chateraise sweets on the table. There are slippers to wear inside your room AND different ones to wear outside your room. Karaoke room. Reserve and use for 1500/hour (same price no matter the number of people). No one had reserved on the day we used it. Wonderful! Dinner- we felt the waitress’ explanation was insufficient and our sukiyaki got way too burnt.... sad memory. Family and I had to ask her afterwards how it should have been done. Of course we were ignorant about how to do it too... If you’re not familiar with western Japan style sukiyaki (is it?), stay safe and Google it before starting, I guess! The elderly waiter was very friendly and talked to us about the roads and Karuizawa outlet, etc... We tried interesting drinks like lettuce shochu, kikuimo shochu if my memory is correct. Breakfast buffet... great variety. After piling food on our plates we went up the stairs for higher seats.... too bad the carpet was stained all over and just didn’t look clean. They could really use a carpet changing... But I can’t complain since I stayed with free tickets from Chateriase! You can feel the age of the building in the public spaces, and I wouldn’t pay the normal staying price, but it is a lovely drive up, onsen is superb, and it’s just relaxing to be surrounded by all the green and blue. Enjoyed about 20 hours of family time.
