T	Takeshi Nasu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 居多神社彌彦神社と同じく越後国一宮だそうで、越後には一宮が複数あるようです。元来、一宮とは律令制下の国司が赴任した際、その国で最初に参拝する最も有力な神社の事で、明確に序列化された社格というわけでは無いそうな。現在の読みはコタですが、かつてはケタと読まれていた事もあり、能登の氣多大社や北陸地方に多く存在する気多神社と同一の地祇信仰と言われているそうです。祭神は大己貴命とのことで神話の国津神に統合されていますが、元々は土着神への独自の信仰があったのでしょう。 Ita Shrine Like Yahiko Shrine, it is said to be Echigo Kuni Ichinomiya, and it seems that there are multiple Ichinomiya in Echigo. ま	まるふくかんたろう on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ なんでも全国で一番神社の数が多いのは新潟県だそうだ。その越後には一ノ宮が三社おわすがそのうちの一社。今は「こた」とお読みするが往古は「けた」とお読みしたとされ、兵庫県北部から新潟県にかけて能登の気多大社や越中気多神社のように日本海側に点在する気多神社と同じく出雲系の神様をお祀りしているのだろう。古事記にある大国主命の高志国（越国）の奴奈川姫命への妻問い説話と同様に出雲勢力の北陸進出の証左と考えられる。もとは身輪山に鎮座していたが慶応2年（1866）に海岸侵食によって社地が崩壊し明治12年に現鎮座地に遷座され、社殿は平成20年に造営されたので社殿は新しく広い駐車場もあり境内も整備されて古くは感じないが、それなりの貫禄が漂う。しかしそうした費用の捻出が大変なのだそうです。ぽつぽつとある参拝者は皆さん本当に篤くお参りされていたのが印象的だった。 Niigata Prefecture has the largest number of shrines in Japan. 加	加川良太 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年9月末に初めて訪れました。駐車場は境内入口の横と、向かい側に広めの駐車場がありました。静かな感じで、それほど大きな感じの神社ではなかったので、参拝者も少なく落ち着いて見ることが出来ました。拝殿の所には、おみくじや御守りなどが無人で販売されていました。御朱印は境内左側の社務所の入り口に、書き置きの御朱印が準備されており、箱にご初穂料500円を入れて一枚いただくシステムでした。境内には親鸞聖人の像やお稲荷さん、昔は相撲の土俵があったのではないか？と思える土の盛り上がった場所などもあり、広過ぎずにゆっくり見れました。 I visited for the first time at the end of September 2021. M	Maurice Belmondo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は大国主命、奴奈川姫、建御名方命で境内にある奉納と書かれた石像がその3神にあたります。越後一宮とも呼ばれる延喜式内社で社殿は2008年に建て替えられたもの新しいです。気多神を祀っているためか新潟ではあまりない出雲の様式の社殿がすばらしいです。越後国司、越後守護上杉家・上杉謙信の厚い保護をうけ、また親鸞聖人も上陸の際に一番に参ったといわれ、聖人にまつわる越後七不思議の第一番「片葉の葦」が入り口脇にあり有難かったです。鎌倉時代の作と推定される市指定の文化財、木造狛犬はどこにあるのかわからず残念でした。 The three deities are the stone statues of Okuninushi, Nunakawahime, and Takeminakata, which are written as dedications in the precincts. P	PLUS NAIVER on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022.3/24日正午頃に訪れました。蔓延防止条例が解除されて初の一之宮巡りでワクワクしながら参拝し社務所を訪れましたが、とてもじゃないが対応が塩過ぎて気分が滅入りました。神社仏閣等で残念とか書きたく無いけど、日付けは初穂料を納めたのを確認してからでも入れて欲しかった。硯が置いてあったが墨を擦る物も筆も無いので書く事すら出来ない(説明文もない)。拝殿を再建したらしく費用が足りない旨の看板がデカデカと設置されてて残念さを加速させる。同じ再建で費用が足りないと謳ってた福島県の神社は、しっかりとお勤めしてました。他の神社とか比べたり下げたりする様な書き込みはしたく無いが敢えて書き込みしました。御朱印は全国一之宮神社用の小さい方より一回り小さい位のサイズで初穂料は500円でした。 I visited around noon on 2022.3 / 24th.
