近鉄の大和郡山駅から歩いてすぐです。
車で行ったので，駅の近くの三の丸駐車場に停めました。1時間ほどで駐車料金は200円でした。駐車場の場所は標識が少なく分かりにくかったので注意です。休日などは混んでいるかもしれません。
灯篭に沿ってゆるやかな坂道を上がって行くと，ライトアップされた桜や壮大な石垣を見下ろすことができます。頂上まで上がれば城下町の夜景も見ごたえがありました。
 I enjoyed the cherry blossoms at night from the evening of late March.
It is a short walk from Yamatokoriyama Station on the Kintetsu Railway.
I went by car, so I parked at the Sannomaru parking lot near the station. The parking fee was 200 yen in about an hour. Please note that the location of the parking lot was difficult to understand because there were few signs. It may be crowded on holidays.
If you go up the gentle slope along the lantern, you can overlook the illuminated cherry blossoms and the magnificent stone walls. If you go up to the top, you can see the night view of the castle town.

また天守台の石垣の『さかさ地蔵』も必見です。
The stone wall is spectacular.
Also, the stone wall "Sakasa Jizo" on the castle tower is a must-see.

A pitiful figure due to renovation and logging. It's probably the only tourist attraction in Yamatokoriyama City. I will never go again. I couldn't see it over the railroad tracks

桜まつり、夜のライトアップを見に行きました。照明が暗くて桜が暗くて写真に写せません。一部でいいので桜の木を明るくライトアップしてほしい。お客さんはまばらでした。

I went to see the cherry blossom festival and the night illumination. The lighting is dark and the cherry blossoms are too dark to take a picture. I want you to light up the cherry blossom trees brightly because some of them are fine. The audience was sparse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019.04.01 Cherry blossom has not yet been in full bloom but they were still really beautiful. I went there around 7 in the morning and enjoyed the calm atomosphere with bush warbler song.
