 The stump was taken on the path next to the swamp, but it looked like an owl for a moment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 子供が爬虫類/両性類にハマっており、カエルのタマゴとオタマジャクシを見に行きました。湿地の畦道近くまでは行けるのですが、近寄るのが禁止されており、触ることができませんでした。
My kid was addicted to reptiles / amphibians and went to see frog eggs and tadpoles. I could go near the ridges of the swamp, but I couldn't touch it because I was forbidden to approach it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 所沢市の管理されている湿原のようです。すぐ側に糀谷八幡宮が鎮座されていることが、当湿地の名称の由来なのかと思います。駐車場もあり、ビオトープや自然に触れることが出きる。素敵な場所です。お子さん連れでいらっしゃる方々が結構あります。
It looks like a managed bog in Tokorozawa City. I think that the name of this wetland is derived from the fact that Kojiya Hachimangu is enshrined on the immediate side. There is also a parking lot where you can get in touch with the biotope and nature. It's a nice place. There are quite a few people with children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ムックみたいなトトロが目印の、糀谷八幡神社に隣接した湿地です。
立入禁止の区域があるので、入れる場所は限られています。
それでも沢山の動植物と出会う事ができますが、管理地の為、採取は禁止されています。
マムシ以外にも、スズメバチやヤブカ等がいるので気をつけてね。
It is a wetland adjacent to Kojiyahachiman Shrine, which is marked by a mook-like Totoro.
There are restricted areas, so there are only a limited number of places to enter.
You can still meet many animals and plants, but collection is prohibited due to the controlled area.
In addition to the pit viper, there are wasps and aedes, so be careful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 狭山丘陵の自然が残る貴重な場所だと思います。田んぼとかなかなかナイスな雰囲気です。「マムシ注意」の看板はビビりました。
I think it is a valuable place where the nature of Sayama Hills remains. Nice atmosphere with rice fields. The sign for "Note on viper" was scary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ トトロの森をイメージしているのか、木の枝を使ったトトロのオブジェが目印です。ハイキングには良い場所です。
Perhaps it is an image of Totoro's forest, the Totoro object using tree branches is a landmark. A good place for hiking.
