★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a little small, but very nice nice zoo to go with small children. For older kids it might be a bit dull. The entrance fee is very low, and the have a small reasonably priced restaurant as well. Parking is available for ¥300.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a quaint little Zoo, but for a little Zoo there are many open exhibits. What I mean is you can get pictures with out bars in the way. You can also feed certain animals during respective times. I got to feed penguins! So highly recommended for others to check it out. Great for families with children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great trip for kids and kids at heart. Easy to find and easy parking. Cost 300 yen to park 400 yen for adults. Enclosures could use an update.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall i am satisfied with my visit. Ive gone to this zoo growing up. Its nearly the same. Not a full 5 star just due to small enclosures for many of the animals, mant pacing back and forth. and the bad horde of flies on the pig and animals near by that enclosure.
They also say no fureai(petting zoo) time but allow guinea pig feeding time, which is odd since it says feed them and pet them lol.
It was a fun day with our child and a good zoo considering its japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great zoo. Parking is ¥500, and admissions are really reasonable. My family of 4 paid ¥2200 for what turned out to be a full day experience.

Hamura Zoo is located approximately 20 minutes on foot from the East Exit of Hamura Station, served by the JR Ome Line.
For those who opt to drive, there is on-site parking available for up to 300 vehicles. Parking is charged at a rate of 300 yen per regular sized vehicle per visit.

* 2550 yen - Family Pass (up to six people).
* 150 yen - Over 65 and under 75.
* 400 yen - Over 15 and under 65.
* 100 yen - Elementary and Junior high schoolers.
* 50 yen - Preschooler over 4 years old.
* Free - Under four or over 75 years old.
