★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Going to IKEA in Yokohama? Then don't forget to plan a side trip to this onsen nearby or vice versa. Access through a discount supermarket and head upstairs to sample the multiple baths with black baths of natural water, human-sized pots, water jets to assuage your aching limbs, a camomile bath, Austrian stream room, sauna and space to wake in shallow pits outside. Glorious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first experience of a onsen/public bath? Totally incredible. No tattoo's allowed here... there's a smoking room and a massive restaurant. No secure room for sleeping but there are laying/sleeping areas.

Good selection of food, enjoyed the Forest Villa which is a separate quiet zone with individual capsules, lying down spaces, cubicles if you want to work, library of a books and I think there were 5-6 different stone sauna rooms. The onsen itself was also decent with inside and outside. There wasn’t a time limit which was nice and facilities were modern enough.
