It was my father's death anniversary at Bodaiji, so I went to the grave. Jodo Shinshu, the large ginkgo tree in the precincts, used to be a landmark for fishermen, with the sea just below it. Also, there is a well (with various theories) that is the etymology of Oi in the back of the graveyard! It is not large, but it is a quaint temple!

There are a lot of temples calling temple temples "Kofuku-ji" all over the country, and there are 89 temples even if you pick up various materials. The breakdown is 20 temples in Kanto region, 19 temples in Kinki region, 14 temples in Kyushu region, 13 temples in Chugoku region, 7 temples in Koshinetsu region, 7 temples in Hokuriku region, 4 temples in Tokai region, 3 in Shikoku region There will be a temple, 1 temple in the Tohoku region, and 1 temple in the Hokkaido region. One temple in the Tohoku region is Shingonshu Toyosan's Kofukutsuji located in Takano-cho, Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, but it seemed strange that there were too few even in light of the history and number of temples in the six northeastern prefectures. . On the other hand, the former name of Yasukuni-ji Temple in Kyoto Prefecture was Kofuku-ji, but there may be cases where it has been forced to be renamed by the Muromachi Shogunate, so the reality may be a bit more. In addition, there is a lot of Amido-nuri in Omoto-son. Okon-son of the former Yasukunji Temple is the Buddha statue of Buddha. Gokufuku-ji Temple, Oi 6-chome, Shinagawa-ku, is a historical tumulus that was originally a Tendai sect known as Jinguji when it was founded, but it is reported that it had become Jodo Shinshu after Ryo Kaito had revived in 1265. , It has been renamed to Oiyama Kofuku-ji. Omoto is Amida-nuri. Saito Tsukasa (Gessin), Hasegawa Yukitan (Sitadon) picture "Edo famous place design society" Volume of the Nobi (Tennosube / Tensen nobu) Oiyama Hirofuku-ji (Hiro is a typo of light) In the section, “One more than Seikoji Temple in the south-west. This temple is also the Gonshi (relatives 1173-1262) of Hongho (meaning to spread Guho / Budoh), and the statue of Honzan Amida Nyorai is This place is a trace of the birth of Nakajin Rikojin of Azabuzan Zenfuku-ji Temple. There is also an old tree of cherry blossoms in this temple, and it is a strange sight of spring time. There is a well of a side hole under a little hill, I can not go to the side deeply, I can't measure it again, and there is also Oi in our temple. It is written that it will occur more. It is hard to believe the work of Shot Toku Taito in the text, but there is a relationship with the Zenfukuji Temple in Azabujuban, the existence of a horizontal well, or the old tree of cherry blossoms (in the mistake of Ginkgo) that the village name is Ooi, etc. There are many places where you sign. We recommend going out for those who are interested in historical walks.

Oiyama Kofukuji Temple. It is a single temple of the Jodo Shinshu sect and the main deity is Amida Nyorai. It is said that the Oi well behind the main hall is the origin of the place name of Oi.

Pray for peace ? It looks like Jodo Shinshu, but I visited because I am non-religious. It's not very big, but it has a profound feeling. The graveyard is right next to the main hall, so it feels like it's being seen by many people. Please come visit us if you come near us ☺
