It is a traditional temple. I went to visit the grave, but I was well cleaned. Although I disturbed the main hall a little, I can feel very quiet. I thought that I would like to hear about the method if there is an opportunity.

It is a temple of the Rinzai sect Kenchoji school. Kazan is said to have been built during the Northern and Southern Dynasties as a bodhisattva temple of the Fukushima-san, a local tribe. (Surely this area is called Fukushima village and there are many old houses.) Also, the temple is located under the cliff, but there are also ancient ruins and it was a place where there was a long time ago. I understand. The garden is beautiful and looks like a Zen temple. Also, there is Omatsu, which is designated as Akishima City Natural Monument in the precincts and is rich in greenery. Of course, the main hall is splendid, but there are plenty of attractions such as the mountain gate with a strong presence in a compact structure.

This pine tree is a natural monument designated by the city. Rather, the front of the main hall is small but comfortable. I wonder if it is well maintained and has a lot of greenery

It is a temple of the Rinzai Buddhist Chocho-ji Temple, and was built as a Bodhisoji temple of the Fukushima who was the ruler of the Fukushima ruler at that time, or as a retirement temple of Fuzai-ji. It has been with. When I was a kid and playing with friends at Gofukuji, my priest told me that I could find pottery on the backside of the temple. I found some. What should be noted at this temple is Takeda 24 Masatoshi, Takeda Shiteno, and Naito Genzaemon Masayori (Masahisa), who is said to be the grandson of Takeda's deputy general and Naito Repair, and his relatives and descendants. There is a tomb of. Masatoyo Naito himself reached a fierce end in the battle of Shigaragahara, and his fourth son, Naoto Gensuke Masashige (Masaie) and his child's righteousness did not go to other brothers, and the Takeda family was destroyed. After leaving the Takeda family and wandering around, he seems to have lived in the eastern part of Yamanashi Prefecture. As Tokugawa promoted the reign of the Kai-Shinano area, he guaranteed his status and land to the former Takeda family, and kept it safe and protected the Uesugi and Hojo areas. Masashige is also a former Takeda vassal who was found in the Tokugawa area because he was familiar with this area. On November 17, Tensho 10th, he was given 150 liters of territory, which would help maintain security throughout the region. The At this time, Tokugawa would not have thought Masamasa was a relative of Masatoyo. It seems that Masashige did not dare to say that he was a defeated soldier. And I will live in this area for over 18 years. If Hideyoshi Toyotomi disappears in the 3rd year of Keicho, the world will be confused again and the battle will continue. Before and after the battle of Sekigahara in the 5th year of Keicho, many troops were dispatched, and since the defense of Edo became weak, local territories were appointed. This year Masashige will also be newly appointed as Edo Castle. I think that for the first time Tokugawa also found that Masashige was the child and grandson of Naoto Repair Ryochang Yutaka of the four kings of Takeda. At first, I think that it was promoted by the gatekeeper of Edo Castle, the power or concentricity of the lower guard. However, suddenly, it seems that it was promoted to the head of the flag, the head of the group, or the great number. After that, the mansion also gave his best efforts to work, but Masashige died in the battle of Summer Osaka in the first year of Genwa. It seems that Masayori worshiped the Fukushima territory around this time. The lords and chiefs usually don't show much interest in the land that was devastated and leave the discretion to the deputy, but because the Tokugawa system was an early era and the righteousness had a hard time, they showed interest in the land they worshiped It seems. The state of Fukushima Village and Gofukuji Temple that I went to visit was ruined due to the long war. The godly Masayori seemed unhappy with the current situation of the Fukushima village and Kofukuji that he had worshiped, and decided to give up his family to his son, Masato, to make efforts to restore Fukushima village and Kofukuji. The name and story are slightly different in the "New Hen Musashi Fureki Manuscript" compiled during the culture and Bunsei era, but "Kokofukuji's Zhongxing Kaiji is the ancestor of the original Naito Gensuke, Genzaemon Masayoshi, Kai Come from here to live and reconstruct Gofuku-ji Temple ”. Masayori lived in Kofuku-ji and seemed to have worked hard on the reconstruction of Fukushima village and Kofuku-ji. The place where the Fukushima Kaikan is now is a place that was formerly called “Sekimen” and is a joint property of Fukushima Village. It seems to have been used as you like in the village. This may have been a righteousness or consideration of its descendants. Then Masayori died here on August 23, 2008. The tomb is built on the hillside facing the east side so that you can see Gofukuji. Masayori's wife and son, and several generations later, have built graves at Gofuku-ji. The head of the Naito family in subsequent generations often visited Gofukuji with his family. Therefore, some old people in Fukushima still say Naito's palace and princesses. The swords given by the Naito family are transmitted to Gofuku-ji, and the swords are regularly maintained. In Fukushima, there are several surnames of the former Takeda family, and Mr. Yakubu (Mr. Minai) is one of them. Mr. Yakubu is part of Takeda's Asari family, and his name can be found in the literature. The most famous one is Yakuza Shosuke, who was accompanied by Takeda Katsunori and Nobunaka. There is also a description that some of the medicine bags served the Naito family, and it seems that they were in a master-slave relationship. When did Yakubukuro settle in the Fukushima area? After the destruction of the Takeda family, some of Yakubukuro accidentally settled in Fukushima and then became the territory of the Naito family. Or did you follow Edo as a vassal of the Naito family, and then moved to Fukushima village and Kōfukuji when you relocated to Fukushima? Details are currently unknown, but it is impressive that the tomb of the ancestors of the Yakuza family is built as if following the correct request at the lower level.

After that, Mr. Naito, the flag of the Tokugawa clan, became acquainted with Fukushima, so Masayori Naito Genzaemon (a resident of the Nintokuin palace) said that the temple was built and the tombs of the Naito clan were left in the precincts.
