教えたくない昭島市の すごいお寺です。
The Buddha enshrined in this temple is a secret, Kannon-sama, Dainichi Nyorai-sama, Amida-sama, Benzaiten-sama Anyway, it's like a three-dimensional mandala.
It's a great temple in Akishima that I don't want to teach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天台宗の寺院です。奥多摩街道沿いに有りますが木々に囲まれており静粛な境内です。
今の時期は大きな銀杏の紅葉が見頃でした。境内には大きな垂れ桜?も有りますので春はきっと凄いんだろうと思います。
境内には薬師堂も有りますが、どんな由来が有るのかは定かではありません。観音寺は昔は東勝寺と言ってたそうですが、戦国期の滝山合戦で焼失。その後に徳川家康の庇護を得て再興された歴史を持つとの事でした。
今の建物はすべて新しいと思いますが、この静粛な雰囲気は長い歴史が醸し出しているんだと思いました❗
It is a temple of Tendai sect. Although it is along Okutama Kaido, it is surrounded by trees and is a quiet precinct.
The best time to see the autumn leaves of the big ginkgo was at this time. There are large hanging cherry blossoms in the precincts, so I think that spring will be amazing.
There is a Yakushido in the precincts, but it is not clear what the origin is. Kanonji used to be called Tosho-ji Temple in the past, but it was burned down during the Takiyama battle in the Sengoku period. After that, it was said that it had a history that was revived with the protection of Ieyasu Tokugawa.
I think that all the buildings are new, but I thought that this quiet atmosphere has a long history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元三大師さまをお祀りされているという情報を得て、お参りに行きました。
普段はお堂は閉まっていますが、お堂の左側にお祀りされています。
正月三が日はお厨子を開けていただけて、拝観ができるそうです。
1・18日の十一面観世音さまのお護摩の際には、お堂に上がれるので、堂内のお参りもできます。
（修行のため比叡山に行かれる時は、お護摩は無いそうですので、注意。）
角大師のお札も授与していただけました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天台宗のお寺です。お寺は木々にかもまれ静かで別空間の様です。本堂の前にある枝垂れ桜は、ソメイヨシノに遅れて咲き、とても見事です。
It is a temple of Tendai sect. The temple is surrounded by trees and is a quiet and separate space. The weeping cherry tree in front of the main hall blooms behind Yoshino cherry tree and is very beautiful.
