It is a quiet, spacious and very relaxing space. It's filled with a library-like atmosphere, and I thought I could concentrate on reading time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小平市の中央図書館です。市役所西通りとたかの街道に面しています。小平市民は一人10冊借りれます。もちろん、近隣の多摩地域の人でも申請すれば借りることはできます。自転車は駐輪可能です。市役所西通りにずらっとならんでいますが、右手に専用の駐輪場があります。個人的なおすすめは、図書館の司書の方が作ってくれた冊子です。それほど頻繁にはでませんが、多摩地域のことや色々なことをまとめてくれて発信してくれるので、実は楽しみにしています。過去の冊子も１Fのとあるスペースにおいてあり無料でいただけます（ただし、在庫切れになると終わりなようです。探してみてください）。
It is the central library of Kodaira city. It faces the city hall Nishidori and Takanokaido. Kodaira citizens can borrow 10 books per person. Of course, even people in the neighboring Tama area can rent it if they apply. Bicycles can be parked. It is lined up on Nishi-dori, the city hall, but there is a dedicated bicycle parking lot on the right. My personal recommendation is a booklet made by the librarian of the library. It doesn't happen very often, but I'm really looking forward to it because it summarizes the Tama area and various things. Past booklets are also available for free in a certain space on the 1st floor (however, it seems that it will end when it is out of stock. Please look for it).

The building itself has an old feel. There is too little study space for a central library.

Free parking in Hana no Dai Tokyo. You can stay for hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 中央図書館なだけあって天井が高く館内面積も大きい。視聴覚設備有、2Fに返却式コインロッカーと給水機有。
読書の為の椅子も数多くあるが、社会人が勉強するスペースはほぼない。学生は学生用の机と椅子があるので小学生～高校生くらいまでが勉強に利用している。あと剥製が迫力ありますが、何故ライオンなのだろう。。。

一階にPC使用可(勉強読書も可)のスペース有りました。電源は使用不可なのでご注意下さい。
The ceiling is high and the area of the hall is large because of the central library. With audiovisual equipment, returnable coin locker and water supply on 2F.
There are many chairs for reading, but there is almost no space for adults to study. Since students have desks and chairs for students, elementary school students to high school students use it for studying. Taxidermy is powerful, but why is it a lion? . .

There was a space on the first floor where a PC can be used (study reading is also possible). Please note that the power supply cannot be used.
