西側に降りると市営のテニスコートやグラウンドがあり、トイレも併設されています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 公園として整備されている丘城です。駐車場もあり散歩の感じで登城できます。こじんまりとしてるものの景色は良く、奈良の生駒山、高の原、京都の祝園、京田辺方面が一望でき、交通の要衝にあったことがうかがえます。
