勾配のある階段は百五十段以上はあっただろうか、途中ひと休みしたくなるほど。
銅像の足元の平らな場所まで辿り着けば遠くの天津の海岸や外房の景色も楽しめる。
周りの森を通り抜けた風は心地よい。
時には荒れ狂うも日蓮聖人像はびくともしない他を圧倒する威厳を持ってそこに在る。
