★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022年4月11日に訪れました。桜が満開から散り始めのもっとも美しい時でした。月曜日でしたが駐車スペースはあまり広くないので向かいの施設の駐車場を利用させていただきました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日曜の13時ごろに伺いました。廃校跡地に作られたとのことで、開けた場所の中央にシンボリックな十六角形の建物と、それを囲むように並ぶ立派な桜の木が印象的でした。3月末でまだ桜も蕾でしたが、開花の時は絶景かと思います。施設自体の多くが中には入れないようになっているので、あまりじっくり見て回るという感じではなく、敷地内に点在してあるアートを楽しむと言った感じです。
 I visited around 13:00 on Sunday. It was said that it was built on the site of an abandoned school, and the symbolic hexadecagonal building in the center of the open area and the splendid cherry blossom trees that surround it were impressive. The cherry blossoms were still buds at the end of March, but I think it's a magnificent view when it blooms. Many of the facilities themselves are closed to the inside, so it's not like looking around too much, but rather enjoying the art scattered throughout the premises.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taxi to the place from nagasaka station is 1100 yen there and 1630yen back ( with taxi booking). Staff are friendly. Lots of art pieces. 1h is enough to see everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting place if you are into fine art and the like. Various small art museums mainly of Japanese artists, but there is the Rouault Chapel that has some of his works. There is an entrance fee, but the cherry blossoms are very beautiful when in season.
