日蓮の弟子である日像(1269-1342) が1294, 日蓮の遺命により京で最初の布教活動を開始。(日蓮は京では布教活動をしていない)
1307, 他宗の怒りを買い洛中から追放, 洛外にて活動。ここ真経寺は日像が法論により改宗に成功した洛外3寺*の1つ。元は真言宗の真言寺という名で法論相手の住持は実賢。
(*深草 極楽寺の良桂→宝塔寺, 松ヶ崎 歓喜寺の実眼→妙泉寺(現・涌泉寺))
1309, 赦免され京へ戻る。
(その後, 追放と赦免を繰り返した後,
後醍醐帝より寺領を賜り妙顕寺を建立, 1334(建武元), 妙顕寺が勅願寺となるに至る)

Nichiren's disciple, Nichizo (1269-1342), started his first missionary activity in Kyoto in 1294, due to Nichiren's death. (Nichiren does not carry out missionary activities in Kyoto)
1307, bought the wrath of another sect and expelled from Rakuchu, active in Rakuchu. Shinkyoji is one of the three Rakuchu temples * where Nichizo succeeded in converting according to the theory of law. Originally named Shingonji Temple of the Shingon sect, the priest of the legal theory is Jikken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ おそらく、元々はかなり広い境内を有していたのでしょうか。周囲に広がる広大な駐車場が、そういった過去をイメージさせます。車でのアクセスだと、北側の月極駐車場からになるのかな。北門のスペースに駐車はさすがに迷惑なので。真夏日に参拝しましたが、この時期には、境内を楽しめるものもなく。本堂は、柵があるので中が見れないのが残念でした。お寺なので、ご住職はいらっしゃるようでしたが、緊急事態宣言下なので、寺務所へのアプローチは遠慮させていただきました。なので、御朱印については不明です。
Perhaps it originally had a fairly large precinct. The vast parking lot that spreads around makes us imagine such a past. If you access by car, I wonder if it will be from the monthly parking lot on the north side. Parking in the space at the north gate is a nuisance. I worshiped on a midsummer day, but at this time of year, there was nothing to enjoy in the precincts. It was a pity that we couldn't see the inside of the main hall because there was a fence. Since it is a temple, there seemed to be a priest, but since it was a state of emergency, I refrained from approaching the temple office. So, I don't know about the red stamp.
