★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very experienced and friendly chefs. The owner has been making sushi for over 50 years. We had a person with a shellfish allergy which the chef catered for and put our mind at ease. The sushi was absolutely delicious and our chef spoke perfect English and it was so nice to chat and watch him do his magic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful omakase, would recommend going during lunch, the price cannot be beat and the fish is just as fresh and delicious as during dinner. One of the sushi chefs speaks great English, so helpful for tourists to be able to understand what they're eating (me included!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s hard to find a better bargain than the nine course Y2000 ($20) omakase lunch at sushi spot Kidoguchi / きどぐち. Located on a side street off busy Aoyama Dori, Kidoguchi will run you Y12,000 at dinner time. It’s best to make a reservation, even at lunch. There’s also a $30 lunch with more pieces.

We came on a sunday night but it was full so the super friendly chef (who speaks really good english) took a reservation for the day after. Anyway, we took the 10 sushis set for lunch and it was awesome : super fresh fish, tasty sushis and miso with delicious clams. The chef cooked cold, hot and grilled nigiris with very surprising and interesting flavours. My favorite one was the tuna/yuzu ? !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place with the friendliest sushi chefs. One speaks very good english so its the perfect place for the foreigners who aren't used to eating at sushiya's. The sushi itself is great for the value at lunch. The rice is warmer and its portions are really big. The fish are good quality, especially the shima-aji, uni and the squid. Anago is also delicious
