Feel like a local as Kevin greets you with a ‘Kia ora’ or ‘g-day mate’, serves a cold draft, then snaps a Polaroid of you and gets you to autograph it for the wall. Watch as he and his partner prepare food and drinks and welcome a varied cast of locals and visitors. Fun.

So nice atmosphere, with the coldest draft beer in town and souvenirs from many countries across the world brought from many workers of Toyota outside Japan. If you are a Toyota employee, you like to enjoy a good beer this is a must...

If you start doing shots of American whisky they will get you going the Sakai and before you know it you are buzzing. Food is OK but who comes here for the food? Kevin and his wife have been running this place for years and have pictures of all the new faces they meet posted on the walls.
