★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山と畑、田んぼ。静かで、リフレッシュに。
カフェもあり。そこからの眺めがのどか。初めて、鹿肉料理(カレー)を、食べましたが、抵抗なく食べれました。鹿肉の処理の仕方が上手らしくて、臭みは全くありません。
Mountains and fields, rice fields. Quiet and refreshing.
There is also a cafe. The view from there is peaceful. I ate venison dish (curry) for the first time, but I was able to eat it without any resistance. The venison is treated well and has no odor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 霧濃い中、美術館へ。
平日とあってほぼ貸し切り状態でした。
ガイドさんは美山が好きなのでしょう。熱く語ってくれます。隣の棟の水車が壊れて回らなくなったことを嘆いておられました。
資料館の水琴窟の音色は心がキレイになれます。
この日カフェはクローズ。残念…。
冬場は閉館とのことなのでまた来年に。
In the middle of the fog, I went to the museum.
It was a weekday and it was almost reserved.
The guide probably likes Miyama. He talks hot. He was lamenting that the water turbine in the next wing was broken and could not rotate.
The sound of the Suikoto cave at the museum is beautiful.
The cafe was closed this day. Too bad ...
It is said that it will be closed in winter, so next year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かやぶき屋根の集落は白川郷が有名ですが、こちらのかやぶき屋根は京都らしく気品があって大好きになりました。まだそれほど観光地化されていないので見に行くなら速い方が良いと思いますね。京都から行くと山道を長い事走りますが、途中に北山杉の絞り丸太をつくる製材所も多く楽しいドライブになりました。
The thatched roof village is famous for Shirakawa-go, but this thatched roof has the dignity of Kyoto and I loved it. I think it is better if you go to see it because it is not yet a tourist destination. If you go from Kyoto, you will run for a long time on the mountain road, but on the way there are many sawmills that make squeezed logs of Kitayama cedar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 茅葺住宅と紅葉がきれいな場所。なお、側溝には「いもり」も生息していた。カーナビだとメインルートからは外れた場所となるため、観光客はゼロであった。
