C	Cami on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere! The cake of the cake was a blueberry tart and it was so delicious! We had to wait around one hour on a Sunday at 2:00 pm
M	Matilde Mariancini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The queue for this café is always pretty long and the average lining time is 15 minutes. But it’s worth the wait! Quite, relaxing café, peaceful atmosphere. Great. Today to drink I had a roasted nuts coffee. The sweetness and the nutty notes made it kind of hard to get the original taste of the coffee, but all the flavours were balanced and the drink itself was definitely pleasant. The egg sandwich here is simply terrific. Delicious Japanese style omelette with mayonnaise and fresh, soft, yummy bread. Perfect match. All served with chicken based soup (which I didn’t try) and salad. The vegetables sandwich is also great. Fresh tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce plus a nice sauce. All the flavours are properly balanced. Recommended!!

Egg sandwich is definitely their signature dish, the soup that comes along the breakfast set was a surprise tho the size was tiny - really tasty!! Matcha latte was very rich and smooth. Love this cozy place with Japanese seating upstairs! Will revisit for sure!! The location was not the most convenient which is true but we drove there so was fine - tips for parking is to park at the nearest 7-11 and u can enjoy 90 mins free parking for any purchase at 7-11. We think it's a superb offer compared with average hourly parking nearby.
y	yusuf on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful with the wet tissue they give you in the beginning, it's not appetizers cuz it looks like marshmallow! Don't chew it or even try to eat it like I did? it's a trap! the sandwich was great! the atmosphere was great!
H	Helen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here a couple of times, tried various sandwiches and desserts. Great sourdough bread, considering it’s not common in Japan. Pudding is popular but I like the cheesecake best. Remember to make reservations as they are always packed.
K	Kiki Kika on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 8 minutes walk south exit of JR Nippori station. The walk from station was soothing, probably because you are in the middle of a huge cemetery ? Kayaba coffee has great retro vibes going on but food was mediocre. The salad and soup were not my cup of tea. Hayashi rice was normal too. Unfortunately, there will not a second visit.
Y	Yuuki AsunaYui on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend taking a stroll out to this cafe! Love the building and the inside is just as amazing! You can sit on the bottom floor or the top floor. The floor has some steep steps but the view and the room is worth it! The breakfast menu is simple but the food was 10?! I loved my egg toast and would eat it every morning if I could! They have milk alternatives too! Staff are super sweet! No parking on site. We walked from Ueno. Part of the oldest town in Tokyo called Yanesen. Menu can ve in English, we were able to read it via Google translate along with the words we knew. Bathroom on site.
I	Ikigaivoyage Travel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not too far of a walk from Ueno Park, I had this saved for a while and I’m glad that I was able to finally come here! It’s in a lovely old wooden building with a cool retro interior and although the inside is small it doesn’t feel crowded even when all of the tables are occupied. For the food I just ordered the egg sandwich this time and it was hands-down the best egg sando I’ve ever had. The bread (sourdough) is either made in-house or at least made in a local bakery because it was fresh, moist (sorry I know people hate that word), and the perfect density. The egg was delicately seasoned and went perfectly with the dill butter spread! I’ll be back to try the coffee and their desserts.
