★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 川舟小学校は2011年に西和賀町の学校統廃合の為に、沢内小学校（旧猿橋小学校）へと合併された。
表には川舟小学校の校歌。裏には歴史の概略が刻まれている。
後ろにはタイムカプセルを埋めたと思われる標柱もある。
隣には昭和54年に落成した川舟小学校新築落成記念碑もある。
元々の川舟小学校は昭和31年に落成され、昭和54年に解体されたとある。
新基準の地震対策が不可能という点から、現在は体育館を残し校舎は解体されでしまったが、体育館は今も休日に地域住民によって利用されている。
せめて体育館は存続できたらと願う。
 Kawafune Elementary School was merged with Sawauchi Elementary School (formerly Saruhashi Elementary School) in 2011 due to the consolidation of schools in Nishiwaga Town.
The school song of Kawafune Elementary School is on the table. The outline of history is engraved on the back.
Behind it is a pillar that seems to have filled the time capsule.
Next to it is the Kawafune Elementary School new construction monument, which was completed in 1979.
It is said that the original Kawafune Elementary School was completed in 1956 and dismantled in 1979.
The school building has been demolished, leaving the gymnasium because it is impossible to take measures against earthquakes of the new standard, but the gymnasium is still used by local residents on holidays.
I hope the gymnasium can survive at least.
