昔は二度森展望台のある松崎という岬にあったそうです。
通行困難な参道だったため現在地、白崎山に移されたそうです。
1627年には既に移転済みだったようですので、ずっと昔の事の様ですね。
静かでとても雰囲気の良い神社です。
裏へ回ると遊歩道が始まります。椿並木の路も、海の景色も、美しいので是非歩いてみて下さい。

It was said that it was moved to Mt. Shirasaki, the current location, because it was a difficult approach.
It seems that it had already been relocated in 1627, so it looks like it has been a long time ago.
It is a quiet and very pleasant shrine.
The promenade begins when you go back. As for the way of the tree-lined trees and the view of the sea, please walk by all means because it is beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鹽竈神社十四末社の一座にあげられている松崎神社（桂島神社）は、奥津比古老翁神・奥津比賣老女神いわゆる「お竈様」が祀られています。神社の鎮守の森には、この地方が北限とされる常緑樹のタブノキの大木が繁茂し昼でも暗く、この境内の木に刃物を入れれば天罰が下るという言い伝えもあります。
