Best Tonkatsu restaurant in japan

D	David Kenney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good tonkatsu. I'd reccomend the lean katsu (ヒレ, hire) rather then the fatty one (ロース, ro-su).

But for what it was and the price it was awesome and delicious. I was taking there by a local though who prefers this place over others.

My wife had the curry, and that had a bit of a thick texture, but the taste was really good. Relatively inexpensive as a full meal runs between 950 and 1,100 yen. Cash only.

s	soe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Living in JP for 6 years now I ate my share of Tonkatsu and this one was probably the best! Hire (tenderloin) katsu was super thick but very soft and tender. The breadcrumbs was perfect; cripsy and not too hard that you going to hurt your upper inner mouth. Overall, the katsu quality was top notch. The sauce was super delicious. I’m that lemon & salt person when it comes to Tonkatsu, but I reached the sauce a couple of time. They also serve asari miso soup which was also very delicious. Their rice was a little on the hard, al dente side instead of fuwafuwa moist type. At the end of my meal, it dried down a bit so I pour a little miso soup and it was bomb. Super full, super recommended. It was ¥1200 tax-in for lunch. Will def come back.
