Course 3000 yen ~ [5-minute walk from Kichijoji Station] A long-established hideaway kushiyaki restaurant The owner "Katsu-san" opened this shop in 1994. Since then, it has been loved as a place for local office workers and people living in the neighborhood to have a daily evening drink as a restaurant where you can eat delicious "yakitori" while listing "yakitori" in the name of the restaurant. I go to the meat market every day, buy fresh meat that has just been tightened in the morning, and do a polite work such as "simmering" and "skewering". The desire to "deliver warmth not found in major chains" is firmly conveyed to the taste.

The tsukune is grilled to perfection and I highly recommend you eat them with the raw egg yolk. The cold tofu is good and the yaki-onigiri is good too. The ambience is good, very down to earth and local. I don't think there's an English menu so it would be a bit of a problem if you can't speak or read Japanese. Overall, highly recommended. Will definitely come back here.

We ordered yakitori, daikon, and tofu/intestine soup. This was the best tasting food I had in a while. A bit salty but it paired excellently with the beer. The staff were extremely on point with their service and friendly attitude. I can’t stress enough how delicious our meal was. No English menu so brush up on your Japanese or bring a local. I highly recommend this place!
