★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 春になると名古屋城をバックに清正公と桜の風景が楽しみです。
車から見るのもよいですが、近づいて見ると清正公の大きさに驚きます。
威厳あり、風格ありです。
この場所は名古屋能楽堂と市営駐車場、そして、分かりにくいながら変電所もあり、能楽堂横では食事やお茶もできます。
春はソメイヨシノが比較的低い位置で咲き、目の高さで枝が広がり咲きます。
桜は見上げて愛でることが多いと思いますが、
ここでは胸元から目の高さで咲いているので、
とても見ごたえのある風景となります。
訪ねる人も少ない方なので、一度春先に訪れてみてください。
像の近くには整備されキレイな公衆トイレもあります。
