Be careful about the schedule of the train as it depart every 30 mins. It takes near an hour form Narita and the JR tokyo wide pass is recommended. If you have time you can also visit the Kotori Shrine near by.

Path in the saint forest impressed me so much because of its atmosphere which is so hard to explain. This shrine is one of the spots I recommend most in Ibaraki prefecture. Don’t miss it!

You can learn a lot of local wisdom & Japan history from this area.
