★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20200502-0503第1回茨城⇒千葉⇒茨城GW弾丸洗濯帰宅ツアーで県を跨いで帰宅した際に、太平洋側を下道で走り途中ダメもとで鹿島神宮に寄って参拝して帰宅する事にしました！
「鹿島神宮 無料P」の看板に引かれて「鹿島神宮第二駐車場」に9:30に到着し、車を停めて鹿島神宮二の鳥居を目指します！
参道をのんびりと歩くと目の前に二の鳥居が見えて来ました！
3.11の震災で倒壊したものが綺麗に再建されてました！
二の鳥居をくぐると空気が変わります！
いよいよ、ご神域です！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 常陸国一宮「鹿島神宮」の境内入口。
現在の鳥居は境内に樹生していた4本の巨木杉を用いて建てられていて、2014(平成26)年竣工。
高さ10.2m、幅14.6m。
以前は笠間市産の御影石を使用した石鳥居で1968(昭和43)年明治維新後100年の記念として立て替えられたが、2011(平成23)年の東日本大震災により倒壊。
現在の杉鳥居の土台となる基石にはこの倒壊した鳥居の石が使われている。
二の鳥居を潜ると、そこは神域で神々しい雰囲気となる。

The current torii is built using four giant cedar trees that had grown in the precincts, and was completed in 2014 (Heisei 26).
Height 10.2m, width 14.6m.
Previously, it was rebuilt as a stone torii gate using granite from Kasama City to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Meiji Restoration in 1968, but it collapsed due to the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
This collapsed torii stone is used as the foundation stone for the current Sugi torii.
When you dive into the second torii gate, it becomes a sacred area with a divine atmosphere.

やはり鹿島に来たら神宮参りをせずに帰るのは失礼というものです。
神宮周辺の駐車場料金の相場は500円
リニューアルされた大鳥居は真新しすぎて古風なイメージがしませんがこれから時間を掛けてじっくりと味を出していくことを切に願っております。
