L	Luis Jimenez V. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool place for kids. You can rent kids/adult ski/snowboard gear — hence great for tourist coming from the tropics. Convenient conveyer belt saves you the hassle to go up the kids slope. The park has plenty of sleds for anyone to borrow. If you're an advanced skier/snowboarder to another resort, slopes are very small. The hotel near the resort has an amazing thermal bath.
C	Cary Reid on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great slopes. The runs are never busy and there is always space. Good long runs for beginners. The beginner slopes work well for snowboarders. There are two challenging runs for more experienced riders. There is also an ungroomed run if you want to push it.

Combined with icy hard pack snow and cloud day, either too easy or too tough for young family with 2 yrs of skiing behind them. The toddlers kids park is fine, no issue there. Better to come late January. No busy and reasonably priced. Over all 4 out of 5

K	Kentaro Mitsuma on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is about 5 minutes from the station. It will cost you flat rate of JPY710 to get here (the cab driver didn’t charged us extra). It is convenient for people who want to enjoy Karuizawa with kids because of sled and tube ride. They have a walkalator to save your legs going back and forth (it’s cool!). Kids can also enjoy the little tiny house right after you climb with the walkalator. Bouncy snowman is also nice because the adults can get in as well to watch their kids. And there’s a nice kebab shop just outside the area and it tastes really good. Overall, I highly recommend this place for families with children.
