a	anc 666 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The height of falls is very low . The photos do not give clear clarity of height. The atmosphere is calm, serene and breezy. Good place for summer weekend getaway. There is a small wooden sculpture of Demon slayer on the entrance before entering the falls.

Many tourists. 4 car parking areas along the road. You should pay tolls when you enter to the access road. Actually its not a toll road normally you see. ?. But you don’t need to pay anymore for parking or entrance. There are hiking tracks if you wish to hike. Totally nice weather even in summer. Few shops to buy stuff. You should try fresh fish. Its not fried or bbq or boiled. Just dried keep neat charcoal burner. Good taste but expensive. 700¥ per fish. Worth to try it. I wish I could swim this place. ?
J	Joe Bardon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful waterfall, a lot nicer than I was expecting. Not much infrastructure around though so make sure you take some snacks with you. It only takes 5 minutes to walk from the station so unless you plan to do some hiking, you might now want to plan too long in your day for. Still, worth the visit.

N	Neil Eichenberger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So we went up with the bus from Karuizawa station which took 20 minutes, stayed there for 15 minutes and took the next bus down again. Reason was, that we had to catch our Shinkansen quite soon again - and to be honest, 15 minutes was more than enough. Nothing else to do other than looking at the waterfall, taking some pics and then perhaps, buy some souvenirs. Anyway, nice spot - not more, not less
K	Kelly Pettit on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This waterfall is really impressive. I recommend getting there before the shops open if you want to enjoy taking a few photos without anyone else in them. The place gets very crowded. Parking is free and it’s a 5 minute walk from your car. But there is a toll of 500 yen to use the road that gets you there. It’s worth it though.
N	Norris C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth the bus ride from karuizawa station there, which runs quite infrequently. It's along a windy road uphill, so even without snow it would not be easy to get there walking or cycling. The falls is actually only about 3 to 4 meter tall, but nonetheless quite beautiful, especially when covered in snow. Short 5 min walk, though a bit slippery, from bus stop to the falls, so 30 to 45 min is sufficient for a visit. Small shop at the bus stop for drinks, washroom, souvenir whilst waiting for return bus.

A stream runs down from the main waterfall and along the side of the trail, making for a lovely walk to the main waterfall. The dirt track is slightly uphill, so recent rains can make it slippery. For this reason, I recommend wearing good walking shoes. The falls are beautiful and accessible year round. The fee is ¥500 to enter for parking.
