★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 町口門を入ったところに番所があり、鑑札がないと通ることが出来ず、鑑札がある人のみ城内での商いが叶ったそうです。1821年、通行札を貰えば誰でも自由に出入りできるようになりたとのこと。今もこの細い坂道を通ると、当時の肴町の面影を垣間見るように思います。また、ついこの間まであった銀座通りにも続く小道は、城周辺で多くの商業が繁栄していたことが想像できます。反物屋、老舗菓子屋、器屋さんおよび銀行など様々な商店が立ち並んでいました。

In 1821, anyone could go in and out freely if they received a pass ticket. Even now, if you go through this narrow slope, you will get a glimpse of the remnants of Sakana Town at that time. There were various shops such as cloth stores, long-established confectionery stores, container stores and banks.
