耳鳴りと声枯れで受診。耳鳴りは耳鼻科では治療できないとの事で、理由を含めて丁寧に説明してくれた。一方専門外とはいえ、目の動きを検査してくれて、自律神経に問題があることまでは突き止めてくれた。 出来ない事を無理に治療しない(治療するフリもしない)態度は信頼できると感じた。 声枯れは鼻からの内視鏡で診断。声帯は綺麗な様子だが痰が多かったので、痰切りの薬で様子見。水の飲み方など対処方法も説明してくれた。 とても勉強している医師だと感じた。

とにかく院長の機嫌が日によってコロコロ変わる。必要以上に平身低頭な時もあれば何が琴線に触れたのか人を見下して頭から馬鹿にしたような態度の時も。家族や知人にそう聞いて「まさか今時の医者でそんな人がいるわけないだろう」と思って数回行ってみたが、まさにその通り。混んでいてどんなに頑張っても予約が取れず「薬だけでも」と受付に頼んで断られ、ようやく数日後に受診できたら「はぁ?薬切れてから来られてどうしろっていうの?」と怒鳴られ、なかかなか喉の痛みが取れず「まだ違和感が…」と訴えたら「何それ?もうあんたは耳鼻科とかじゃないでしょ、ココロかアタマの病気じゃないの?」と。他の耳鼻科に行ったら「治りかけてますがまだ炎症の跡がありますね、これを見落とす医者がいるとは…」と言われあっさり治りました。 そういえば、待合室に院長名義のいろいろな注意書きがあるが文字でズラズラと書いてあるわりに要点がわかりにくく、普通の企業だったら即ボツで書き直しさせられるレベル。箇条書きにするとか、高齢者含めて相手にわかって貰えるような努力もなさそう。 良い評価の時もあるようなのでたまたまご機嫌が良かった時に受診できた人がいるだけかも。 「二度と行きたくない」と書いている人の気持ちがわかります。自分はここの前を通りたくもないですから。 あと、他の人も書いてますが、受付のギャル?たちの態度の悪さは病院にあるまじき酷さです。たぶん看護師資格など持たない事務員か医療秘書だと思いますが。

土曜日は激混みで朝から並ばないと早い時間帯に診てもらえない。 子連れの人におすすめ。 子供は予約が取れなくても掛け合えば診てもらえるので、その点をどう思うかで成人が単身診てもらうには個人の向き不向きがあると思う。 ベビーカー置き場や子供の遊ぶスペースの確保がされていて小児科っぽい。 物心つく前から花粉症はもちろん慢性鼻炎や中耳炎や蓄膿症もやってきたので、赤ちゃんの時から診てもらえる耳鼻科があるとその子が成長した時にいいんだろうなーと思います。 近所にあった、ここの院長のお父さんのやってた耳鼻科のカルテを引き継いだ時から混雑が常態化してる印象です。 私は若山耳鼻科がやってない日は烏山耳鼻科でいっか〜と両方の病院をフラフラしてた患者なので何となく思い入れがあって通い続けています。 施設はとても綺麗だし気持ちよく居られる空間だけど、待つのが嫌いな人は他の耳鼻科にすべき。

最低の病院。 子供の慢性的な耳鼻咽喉疾患で、前以て予約して定期的に受診するような人にとってはいいのだろうけど、咽頭炎、扁桃腺炎等、急に高熱を出した場合などに診てもらおうとしてもムリ。特に大人は。全く冷たい対応でしかない。 事実、数年前、喉を腫らしてしまい40度近い高熱が出たので、診てもらいたくホームページを調べると、初診の患者の予約は受け付けないとのことだった。自宅のある2つ隣の駅からフラフラしながらやっとたどり着いて受付して病状を話したが、とにかく予約優先ですからと言われた。仕方なく座って待っていたが、座ってるだけでもしんどい状態で、そんな中、後から後から子供連れの患者さんが入ってきて先に受診していく。。 受付してから2時間以上経っても診てもらえる気配がないので、しんどさに耐えられず、受付に辛い病状や、あとどのくらい待ちそうか等を話すも、受付の女性みんな「予約優先ですから。」の一点張り。全く冷たい対応でしかなかった。 このままではしんどいだけでいつ診てもらえるか分からないと思い、受診を諦め病院を出て、タクシーを探して乗って、他の病院をどうにか探して受診した。 あの時のしんどさは、本当に忘れられない。 いっそのこと、この耳鼻科、病院名を「予約制・小児耳鼻咽喉科」とでも変えた方がいいのでは? ※余談だが、ここの院長のお父上は千歳烏山駅南口前で以前「若山耳鼻咽喉科」を開業されていた。よく喉を腫らし高熱を出す私は、30年以上前からお世話になっていた。そこは予約制なんかはなく、品のいい先生の奥様(多分)が受付を仕切っていらっしゃった。受付で症状を聞かれるので40度の熱があることなど容体を申し出ると、「それではかなりお辛いですよね」と言って先に待っている患者さんたちに事情を話して先に受診させてくださったことが何回もあった。その時も、座ってるのも辛い状態だったので、本当に心から感謝した。そして、先生もしっかりと治療をしてくださる方だった。

いざという時に頼れない耳鼻科。 コロナ前に伺いました。 扁桃炎もちで高熱が出る前触れがあったので近くの耳鼻科を受診しようと伺いましたが、予約で埋まっていると門前払いを受けました。受付の方も冷たいです。 予約優先ならわかりますが受付時間内(締め切りギリギリでもない)なのに受付もしてもらえないとは… 結局診てもらえず、その後もれなく高熱出て救急で運ばれる羽目になりました。
