★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff spoke minimal English, there is no English menu available. If you only want 30 minutes they will call you 10 minutes prior to your end time. Beware!!! If you don't leave in 30 minutes exactly they charge you for another 30 minutes!! It was a ton of fun, and they have a large selections of English artists. However they lost stars for not informing us of their policy. Also it took us awhile to get the system figured out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was okay but I don't recommend this chain for foreigners. It is very much targeted for natives. Foreign song selection is poor. System is all in Japanese, the main song hub is all Japanese songs and top hits lists. There is a searchable subsection for Korean, Chinese and English songs but no top hits etc. If you want to sing anything outside of that, go somewhere else.
Also we had to pay upfront for the time we were planning on spending instead of leaving a running tab and just paying at the end. It made the whole experience a lot less enjoyable when we knew we were under time pressure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charged us for an extra 30 minutes for being 2 minutes late. They did not give a warning call to our room, and did not explain properly. We did not understand why it was so expensive until we saw on our receipt that it said 2 hours and 2 minutes and did the math ourselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This popular chain of karaoke rooms can be found around most major towns and stations and has a reputation for being one of the best places for karaoke. Unfortunately, my experience at this branch located in the heart of Shibuya in the Dogenzaka area, fell short of expectations. The main being the somewhat lacking (compared to other karaoke places) selection of English tunes and the volume of the system in the room seemed a bit lower than we like. However we were able to get a groupon deal that gave us 3-hours of free flowing booze and karaoke for 1,500 yen per person which is tough to beat.

Groupon deal was amazing with 3-hours of free flowing booze and karaoke for 1,500 yen per person, that said it's usually a "fair" price to sing and drink here.
Menu/selection
Music selection wasn't as amazing, but don't get me wrong, there was plenty to sing to.
Quality
The sound system was a bit lame. Volume setting sounded more like a 5 even when we had it at 10.
Service/staff
Good service and quick acting staff with the drink orders. Though that said English was minimal.
Ambiance
We were 5 in a room for 6 and I thought it felt a little cramped, but hey, 1500 yen per head for 3-hours of songs and booze....
Final thoughts...
Music selections could've been better, as well as the volume, but it was a good night of karaoke, so can't complain too much. Definitely falls short of 4 stars though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly felt like an upscale karaoke place (even though it’s a chain) !! Felt it was clean, not smoky, and all around, pretty classy.
The room itself was reasonable for 5 people, and had AC. Unfortunately there’s no option to operate the music selection device in English, but with some Google Translating, you can figure it out. We thought the English song selection was solid— there was definitely enough to keep us singing for the whole time.
¥3500 for 2 hours of AYCD karaoke, which is a great deal considering the location in Shibuya.
