Best Ramen restaurant in japan

A	Anthony Reed on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the “ 醤油ラーメン (Soy sauce ramen)” with pork back fat. I selected 3/3 back fat level but I underestimated the back fat level and I couldn't finish my broth with the thick layer of fat on top. It was delicious and rich though. I'll probably order 1/3 back fat level next time. This restaurant is called Gottsu.

If you feel the soup tastes too strong, just order "Wari Soup" (additional complementary soup, less salty) to adjust the taste. The staff accepts some requests, like extra white onion or bamboo shoots, sometimes he/she ignores them though...

Same goes for the curry miso one and the seasonal special. I felt really bad leaving food uneaten but I felt my liver was going to fail if I ate anymore

They will ask you how much backfat you want in your broth - Light, Normal, Rich - and this largely dictates your experience. I got normal and the broth was incredible! The staff is also super friendly. Dumplings aren't too shabby either.

Ordered the lowest richness and it definitely felt heavy compared to other ramen I've had. Really good value for the money. Great place to eat. Open till 4am!
G	Grant Johnson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here twice while visiting all over Japan last Summer. Had the Shoyu Ramen both times and it was fantastic each time. Lots of meat and delicious broth. Only has a limited amount of seats and you don't want to take too long to eat so others can get in after you. Will likely be back here when I come back to Japan in a year or two.

Its soup was cooked with lard which makes it incomparably tasty, and it comes with large amount of spring vegetable and bean sprout which makes it not oily at all when drinking its soup!

This place is off the beaten path, however it makes up for it by being the most authentic and hearty meal I’ve had while visiting Tokyo. Be prepared to rub elbows with the locals as this place seems to be frequented by salarymen. Use the ticket dispenser at the front and have a seat when you can. The cook had a small sheet to do question translation for English speakers. A normal portion was more than enough for me. Very delicious, I’d go again.
