★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a very special experience. It was my first time fine dining in Japan and it was very different than North America. The location was innocuous but from the moment I entered the restaurant, service was fantastic. I sat at the 8 person counter for an intimate kaiseki experience. I loved watching Chef Kanda work and they were gracious enough to explain everything to me in English. The flavors were so very different than the West that it's hard to describe- they were refined and beautifully complex and my drink pairings were a perfect match. Before going, I read some other less favorable reviews and I couldn't disagree more- Kanda was a highlight of my trip. Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t believe this is Michelin 3 star restaurant for years. Food is good but definitely not worth for 35,000 yen per person. Staff service was mediocre to non receptive. Not caring enough to bring water for empty glasses. Pace was pretty fast almost felt like they want to rush us for another reservation. Would never go back.

p.s. the tuna toro with white truffle and sea salt... mind-blown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the best meals I've ever had! Every dish is different on the palate and I love how he brings out such depth of flavours from simple but quality ingredients. The food portions are just nice and not overwhelming and the sake was great too. 5 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality 5/5! Everything is perfect, and Chef even suggest we must go on beer with sushi. However, the experience is a bit mixed as every dish is great, you can taste the ingredients like Sansho within the sushi etc. However, there wasn’t a particular highlights.
Chef and team is very friendly and will assign an English speaking staff to you. They will assist to call a cab too.
