The trees in the precincts also seem to be slightly slanted, probably due to the influence of the wind. ・ On top of a large whale-head-like mountain in front of Hokodate Rock is the Kanbara Hachimangu Shrine, another theory of Kambara Shrine. The distance from Hokodate Rock to Hachimangu Shrine and Kanbara Shrine is 1200m in a straight line, and from the rock, both companies are neatly lined up in the direction of Yutora. Hachimangu Shrine is located at the center of the straight line, 600m to Hokodate Rock and 600m to Kanbara Shrine. Due to the positional relationship, Kambara Shrine uses Hokodate Rock as the Shintai, and the seating area of ​​the Hachimangu Shrine is positioned as the Shintaisan.
