★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この駅は無人駅で特段何かあるわけではないですが、ここから国道345号線を新潟方面に南下し30分程歩くとかの有名な(？)水曜どうでしょうの聖地の一つ、「だるま屋ウィリー事件」現場があります。一つ前の駅の越後寒川駅からも歩いて行けますが、途中で歩道がなくなる箇所があるため勝木駅はその点少し安全に迎う事が出来ると言えます。ご参考までに。
This station is an unmanned station and there is nothing special about it, but from here you can walk south on Route 345 toward Niigata for about 30 minutes. There is an "incident" scene. You can walk from the previous station, Echigo-Kangawa Station, but there is a place where the sidewalk disappears on the way, so it can be said that Gatsugi Station can be a little safer in that respect.
