★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 五平餅作りに参加しました。胡麻を擂るのが大変でしたが、美味しかった。ツヤや粘りは胡麻の自然なものだったとわかった。ご指導やお話が面白かった。
 I participated in making Gohei mochi. It was hard to sprinkle sesame seeds, but it was delicious. It turned out that the luster and stickiness were natural of sesame seeds. The guidance and stories were interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 蕎麦もあるけど、それ以外のメニューがあるお店。カレー食べました。床座りの落ち着いた雰囲気でした。冬はいろりに日がつくとか。
There is soba, but there are other menus. I ate curry. It was a calm atmosphere sitting on the floor. In winter, the sun goes up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雨の日でしたので、鍋焼きうどんを頂きました。早めの昼食だった為お客さんはまだおらず、囲炉裏の前で食べることができました。ご主人と奥様がとてもいいかたで、奈良井宿の歴史などをお話しして下さりました。また海外の友人が遊びに来れる世の中になったら、日本っぽい雰囲気を味わってもらいたいので伺おうと思います。
It was a rainy day, so I had Nabeyaki udon. Since it was an early lunch, there were no customers yet and I was able to eat in front of the hearth. My husband and wife were very nice and talked about the history of Narai-juku. Also, when it becomes a world where overseas friends can come to play, I would like to ask you to experience a Japanese atmosphere.

I got a Gohei mochi coffee set. It has a hearth and is recommended in a very nice atmosphere. Gohei mochi was very delicious.
