★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Indian food! I always come here when I come to Shigakogen. The tandoori chicken is really tender and juicy. The mutton curry is the spiciest curry that I know of that they have on the menu, but it’s not too spicy that it actually tastes good instead of just hurting. I recommend anyone who comes to Shigakogen to visit this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is quite a surprise to find such a good naan and tandoori chicken here. The sausage (seekkabab) is very juicy.
The portion is Japanese size. So it is better order a full set per person. They cook your food only when you order. The food is poked into one long stick per order, then put into oven to bake. So there will be considerate time to wait for extra order.
Price is not cheap as expected in this mountain, but it is not expensive either. It is reasonable priced. The owner is very attentive to its guests.
The dining experience is much better than the yakiniku restaurant next door.

The chicken tasted like cardboard that wasn't flavoured. Somehow it was dry even though it was in a wet sauce? Both curries were completely flavorless. I honestly didn't taste any flavour. Just brown sauce. Worst curry I have ever had. Sorry!
The naan was tasty though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty naan with that crisp edge and occasional bubble. Mutton curry was just the right amount of spice for most palates. Tandoori chicken wasn't too bad and tikka chicken was even better. Masala tea was good, just needs a hint of cinnamon and it'd be spot on. Typical right size portions for Japan, although if you're really hungry go a little extra up in size. Would recommend over buffet options at many area hotels.
