Ordered the pork tonkatsu with jamon, bechamel and Japanese curry as well as a squid salad with citrus dressing and radish. These very different dishes were both excellent - delicious, artfully prepared, fresh ingredients - and the ambiance was charming too.

They mainly use local ingredients around Shibu-onsen area, especially focusing on seasonal products. The chef seems to forage by himself for his menu. With the experience in France, his food is inspired by it but also using knowledge from Japanese cuisine. I’m a bit worried as the prince is too affordable though ? I anyway highly recommend to dine here if you are in Shibu-onsen!!!
A	Adam Graff on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a lovely restaurant! They just opened - it's a Japanese French restaurant serving a mix of both cuisines that are all perfectly paired. Hearty yummy and exceptionally prepared and presented; also very reasonably priced. This is I think the nicest restaurant in Shibu Onsen and definitely worth it!!! They don't take credit cards like many places on Japan so come with cash on hand.

The kitchen is somewhat open and I was able to enjoy watching the meal preparation. The couple spent some time in France which shows in the cuisine and ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant for an overall rich experience.

The food was truly delicious. The meat cuts were perfect. Firefly squids were tasty. I would highly recommend this to other friends of mine if they are in need for food.
