花	花燦燦 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 夏至の早朝に伺いました。放射冷却で冷やされた杉林の中に凛と佇む鳥居と奥に鎮座する祠。経年劣化が一層、荘厳さを感じさせます。露と苔と杉に囲まれた社は本当に神々しいと思わされました。 I visited in the early morning of the summer solstice. 古	古川昌彦 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 杉木立の中に佇む神秘的な古社。地元では通称「中江賀茂神社」と呼ばれています。平安時代に三条天皇の勅願により創建され千年以上の歴史を誇ります。御祭は賀茂別雷神ですが、京都市内の上賀茂神社、下鴨神社との関係は不明。元は山国五社明神のひとつで、三の宮にあたります。ちなみに一の宮は山国神社。お社は3つあり、向かって左が賀茂神社、右が熊野神社と貴船神社の合祀。中央の小さいお社は稲荷神社です。公共交通機関で行くには、京都駅からJRバスで周山バス停下車、京北ふるさとバス（山国御陵方面）に乗換、山国バス停下車。バス停からは上桂川の橋を渡り、徒歩約1.5kmほど。途中、杉木立に入る道の入口には防獣の為の柵がありますので、開けたら後は必ず閉めるように。開けっ放しにすると、集落にイノシシや鹿が降りて来て住民の方の迷惑となるので要注意。 A mysterious old shrine standing in a cedar grove.
