★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 念願の上淀廃寺跡にいってきました。まじかまで、車で行くことが出来ます。金堂と3つの塔の跡が出土し、壁画があったことがわかっています。近くの白鳳の里には復元展示もされています。
I went to the ruins of Kamiyodo Haiji Temple. You can drive to the front. The remains of the main hall and three towers have been excavated, and it is known that there was a mural painting. There is also a restored exhibition at the nearby Hakuho no Sato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お昼を食べるには少し早かったので、父とドライブがてら見に行きました。花の見頃も過ぎていた事もあり、ゆっくりと見られました。赤い彼岸花の中に、なかなか見られない白い彼岸花があり珍しいなと思いました。
It was a little early to have lunch, so I went for a drive with my dad. The flowers were in full bloom, so I could see them slowly. Among the red cluster amaryllis, there is a white cluster amaryllis that is hard to see, and I thought it was unusual.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 9月末から10月上旬にかけて、ヒガンバナの群生が見頃になります。普段は、古代寺院の遺跡(柱跡や礎石が展示されている)に興味のある人が訪れる史跡公園ですが、ヒガンバナの季節は、写真好きも多く訪れる観光地になります。土の駐車場と公衆トイレがありますし、ちょっとしたピクニックができるあずま屋もありました。
From the end of September to the beginning of October, the cluster amaryllis is in full bloom. It is a historic park that is usually visited by people who are interested in the ruins of ancient temples (where pillars and cornerstones are exhibited), but during the Higanbana season, it is a tourist destination that many photographers also visit. There was a dirt parking lot and a public toilet, and there was also an Azumaya where you could have a little picnic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 彼岸花まつりが開催されていると知り出かけてみました。最初は場所もわからずうろうろしていたら人の流れを見て目的地に到着。ここが 上淀廃寺跡と初めて知りました。飛鳥時代後半に建てられた寺院跡でとても歴史を感じる。ちょっと残念だったのはメインの彼岸花が満開を過ぎていたことだ。来年は満開の時にくるぞ。とても落ち着きを感じる場所です。
I found out that the cluster amaryllis festival is being held. At first, if I was wandering around without knowing the location, I arrived at the destination after seeing the flow of people. I first learned that this is the site of Kamiyodo Haiji. You can feel the history of the temple ruins built in the latter half of the Asuka period. It was a little disappointing that the main cluster amaryllis was in full bloom. Next year will come when it is in full bloom. It's a very calm place.
