秋には茶寮が期間限定でオープンするので
花貫渓谷の紅葉を見た後に来るとドライブコースに丁度いい。
2017年は六雁の料理長が監修だとか。
ローストビーフ丼、また食べたいです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 築200年以上たってる価値ある歴史的文化財ですね。細部までこの時代の職人手の込んだ作りが素晴らしいです。無料でこれほどの文化財を見れる所は あまり無いですね。
It's a historic cultural property that is more than 200 years old. The elaborate craftsmanship of this era is wonderful in every detail. There aren't many places where you can see such cultural assets for free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔の裕福な農家さんの家でした。家は広いし柱は立派だし土間が広くて開放感がありました。日本庭園や竹林まであり現代のお金持ちに匹敵するような暮らしぶりだったのかも。
とはいえ、直ぐに見終わってしまいます。庭園はもう少し植木職人の手を入れて貰った方がいい気がします。そのためこの家で食べるランチの方が印象深いです。
It was an old wealthy farmer's house. The house was large, the pillars were splendid, the soil was wide and there was a sense of freedom. There may be a Japanese garden and a bamboo forest, and it may have lived like a modern rich man.
However, it will end immediately. I feel that it is better to use the gardener's hands for the garden. That's why the lunch at this house is more impressive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1773年に建築され 多少の増改築は有るものの
江戸時代後期当時のこの地域の豪農住宅の代表的な建物が良い保存状態で残っているのは大変希少です。
農業、酒造、造林業多角的経営で財を成した地元の名士のお屋敷です。
広さは勿論の事、素晴らしい庭園 屋敷を囲む塀やお堀など お城が建っててもおかしくない豪華です。
これが入場料無料で見学出来るなんて 一見の価値有りです！
場内では時間がゆっくり流れ のんびり出来ます。
それから穂積家住宅では 夏～秋期限定で『高萩茶寮』と言う ブランド肉など地産地消の食材を扱ったレストランも営業されてるようです。
何と料理の監修を務めたのは 東は 銀座の名店 『六雁』総料理長の秋山能久さんだったそうです。
昨年は折しもコロナ禍の影響で中止でしたが
次にOPENした際は是非ともお邪魔したいです。
食事も出来るとなると これ以上のロケーションは中々ないと思います。

Also, at Hozumi Family Residence, there seems to be a restaurant called "Takahagi Saryo" that sells locally produced and locally consumed ingredients such as branded meat only in the summer and autumn.
It is said that Mr. Nohisa Akiyama, the head chef of the famous restaurant "Rokugan" in Ginza, supervised the cooking.
Last year it was canceled due to the influence of Corona
I would love to bother you the next time you open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 穂積家住宅の家財道具はほぼ無かったので広々した屋敷の散策となった。ガラス窓は当時の物が使われているようです。庭の造りは季節を通じて楽しめる造りだと思います。ちなみに無料でした。
