Now that it has been refurbished and there are signs, I would like to visit again.
柴	柴田知房 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 院内駅へ車を停め歩いて行きました。途中「左側に150メートル」と看板がありましたが実際はもっと遠いと思います。そしてその150メートルは田んぼのなかのあぜ道を進むので雨の日や雨上がりの時は注意です。靴が泥だらけになります。しかし採石場跡に着いてみると素晴らしい。院内方面のカルデラの感じ、なぜここがジオパークとなったのかが良くわかる。もっと宣伝すれば良いのに I parked my car at Innai station and walked. There was a sign saying "150 meters on the left side" on the way, but I think it's actually farther. And the 150 meters will follow the footpath in the rice fields, so be careful on rainy days and after rain. Your shoes will be muddy. But when you get to the quarry site, it's wonderful. You can see the feeling of the caldera in the hospital and why it became a Geopark. I wish I could advertise more

コ	コーキ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 轍があるなら車で行ける、と思い車で行ってみたがお勧めはしません。軽自動車だったらいいかも知れませんが、かなり狭い農道、素直に川の手前にある愛宕神社辺りに停めて歩くのが正解です。院内石の砕石場跡は以前テレビのニュースか何かで見たことがあって、一度見てみたいと思ってた場所。日本ジオパークになってから久しいので、もう少し整備されているかと思いきや立看板があるだけだった。肝心の砕石場跡は圧巻！垂直に切り出された石の壁がそそり立っている。大谷石の砕石場跡とは比べようも無いけど、それでもそのスケール感には圧倒される。人ってすげ〜って素直に思う。観に来てホント良かった。当地はカルデラらしいが、ここからの眺めではイマイチ実感は出来なかった。帰り際に畑仕事をしてるおばちゃんに話を聞いたら、もっと大きな砕石場跡が反対側にあるよ、と教えてもらった。反対側にも同じ様な場所があるんならばやはりカルデラなのか？残念な事に反対側の砕石場跡は未整備のため未公開らしいし、Googleにも場所は載って無かった。ここを含め、もう少し本格的に整備をしたら人を呼べる場所になると思うんだけど。なんか残念と言うか勿体ない。 I thought that if there was a rut, I could go by car, but I do not recommend it. It may be good if it is a light car, but the correct answer is to park on a fairly narrow farm road and walk straight around Atago Shrine in front of the river. The site of the in-hospital stone quarry was a place I had seen on TV news or something before and wanted to see it once. It's been a long time since it became a Japanese Geopark, so I thought it might be a little better and there was only a signboard. The essential quarry site is a masterpiece! A vertically cut stone wall stands up. It's incomparable to the quarry site of Oya stone, but it's still overwhelming in its scale. I honestly think that people are amazing. It was really good to come to see it. The area seems to be a caldera, but I couldn't really feel it from the view from here. On my way home, I talked to an aunt who works in the fields and told me that there is a larger quarry site on the other side. If there is a similar place on the other side, is it still a caldera? Unfortunately, the quarry site on the other side seems to be undisclosed because it is undeveloped, and Google did not have a place. I think that it will be a place where people can be called if the maintenance is done a little more seriously including here. It's a shame or a shame.
