On last floor, for a bit more money, you will have an interactive introduction to printing (and bring home your creation) also there is some English explanation.

Something to look: the prints that have imbossed sections onto white or other colors. On top of the 6 colors that were printed the extra detail of the texture is a treat to see! Prints, tools, blocks, and an extremely intricate kimono are all on display. No-flash photography is OK! Japanese and English pamphlets are available! They even have English descriptions of the artworks! On the top floor you can color a reproduction of a print or enjoy their library of prints. Great way to see some Japanese history!

Friendly staff. OK to take pictures unlike most art museums. Worth price of ¥500 admission (May 2019). For additional ¥500, customers can experience making of a print, an activity of real educational value. Located within short walk from Osaka Metro Namba subway station.

Booking a workshop in advance is required. There is also a museum for the most famous Ukiyoes in Osaka and Japan all together.
